GROUP SOUND BATHS

GROUP SOUND BATH EXPERIENCES $50-$75 (single ticket)

A Group Sound Bath is when you lie down with a bolster, blanket and eye pillow on a cosy mat in the Studio with others and are led through a mesmerising meditative sound journey. The instruments used are therapeutic grade (sourced fair trade) and certified by the Peter Hess institute in Germany. The intention of the Sound Bath is deep relaxation. When your brain hears the soothing sounds it harmonises with the frequency of the sounds and slows down. Your heart rate then slows down as does your breathing. During this relaxed state the load is removed from your nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system can be activated and healing can occur.

Soul Sounds offers different types of Sound Baths:

(1) ‘Nurture’ Sound Bath (limited to 12 guests). This is a therapeutic style deeply restorative, gentle sound bath. The instruments are played as I weave around the room creating an immersive surround sound effect. These are weekly usually on a Wednesday or Thursday night.

(2) New Moon and Full Moon Rituals. The Rituals include breath work, intention setting, sound bath and fire elements. The Rituals are open to groups of 11 people and run twice a month aligned with the lunar calendar. The dates are listed on my instagram soulsoundsmassage.

(3) Gong Baths. A Gong Bath is a type of Sound Bath Meditation where you lie down comfortably and shut down your eyes surrounded by the deep, low tones and vibrations of this mesmerising instrument. The aim of a Gong Bath is to promote a deep state of relaxation, allowing you to journey into your inner world, connect to yourself and shut down your mind.

(4) Vibro Acoustic Sound Baths - This is the ‘next level’ of Sound Baths. The Therapeutic Peter Hess Singing Bowls are placed upon your body throughout the Sound Bath session and gently played. You can hear the sounds and feel the vibrations trickle through your body. Spaces are limited to 7 people in this session so I can place a set of bowls on each person.

PRIVATE GROUP SOUND BATHS ($350+) plus gst

I offer private group Sound Baths for up to 12 people at my studio in St Kilda East. At my studio, a session is between $375-$700 for between (2-12 ppl). I can also come to your venue (price on application). I can bring all mats, blankets, velvet bolsters, pillows and eye pillows if required. Sessions are at least an hour long and can include easy breathing techniques and sound meditations tailored to suit your needs. This type of experience may suit your next special occasion, hens night, birthday party, girls night in, office party or other special occasion.
